Notification & Publication

Review Process

Abstracts will be peer-reviewed.  While all submissions will be considered for a poster session, some may be invited to provide an oral presentation.

Notificaton of Abstract Status

  • All presenting authors will receive an e-mail notification of abstract acceptance and scheduling by the beginning of February.  Notices will be sent to presenting authors only.  It is the responsibility of the presenting author to inform all co-authors of the abstract acceptance status and of poster presentation scheduling information.
  • All abstract status e-mail notifications will be sent by bulk e-mail.  Please note that web-based e-mail accounts (i.e. Hotmail, GMail, AOL, or Yahoo) may automatically place bulk e-mail messages into the junk mail folder.  Please check both your inbox and your junk mail folder for your notification e-mail.
  • If you have not received notification of your status by the middle of February, please contact Chezka Solon at abrf@courtesyassoc.com.
  • It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure that the ABRF has a valid and current e-mail address for the presenting author.  This will ensure timely notice of your abstract status.

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the ABRF 2010 Meeting Program and in the Journal of Biomolecular Techniques

Abstracts will be standardized in regards to font and presentation.  Please proofread abstracts before submission, since they will not be edited.  Any errors that appear in the submitted abstract will also appear in the printed version.
